TO HELP PLAN YOUR VISIT.

Current NJ Department of Health guidance for capacity limit = 500-person entry.

To allow all pool members the opportunity to use the pool with the current capacity limits, and to avoid the need for general entry on-line scheduling, our opening guidelines are:

  • Individual (non-contact) entry and exit sign-in and sign-out

  • 3-hour maximum pool visit session.  Members are asked to self-regulate their 3 hours using an honesty system.  Recommend you set a 3 -hour reminder on your phone/watch.

  • This Pool health waiver (click here to download) will need to be completed before entry to The Pool. Please print off, sign and bring to the pool upon your first visit.

  • 45-min individual lap lane usage within lap pool.  

We will be monitoring the capacity flow and adjust accordingly as needed.

2021 Season NPCP COVID-19 Operating Guidelines for Members, based on NJ Dept of Health and CDC guidelines include, but are not limited to:​​


 Before coming to The Pool:

  • Please stay home if you are sick.  Symptoms related to COVID-19 include fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, fatigue, headache, muscle/body aches, runny nose/congestion, new loss of taste or smell, nausea, vomiting or diarrhea.

  • Please print off and sign this waiver to hand in at the check-in table on your first visit to the pool this season.

  • Changing rooms will be closed; plan to come in your bathing gear as the bathroom should not be used for changing purposes.

  • BYO chair (no chairs or tables provided by The Pool).

At The Pool:

 

MASKS:

  • Staff and patrons must wear a mask/face covering while on the pool deck, while not in the pool and when social distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained (e.g. wear masks visiting bathrooms, Snack Shack and entering and exiting NPCP facility).

    • Masks/face coverings should NOT be put on children under age two because of the danger of suffocation.

    • Masks/face coverings should NOT be allowed in the water due to increased risk of drowning.

    • Lifeguards should NOT wear a masks/face covering while on duty actively lifeguarding at their stand. 

 

SOCIAL DISTANCING:

  • Maintain 6 feet social distancing while in the water (a few inches longer than a typical pool noodle), except immediate family members, caretakers, household members, or romantic partners, or unless the individual needs assistance in order to swim. This includes not gathering at the ends of swim lanes, behind starting blocks, or on stairs into the water or up to the diving board. 

  • Maintain 6 feet social distancing on the pool deck/grass areas, except immediate family members, caretakers, household members, or romantic partners. 

  • Hand sanitizer is available as designated locations around the facility.
  • Bathroom and shower facilities are open, with social distancing capacity flow.  

  • All persons must wear foot coverings and masks to enter shower/bathroom area.

 

OPEN ACTIVITIES:

  • Snack Shack dining.

  • Diving boards.

  • Swim & Dive Team practices: operating with COVID-19 safety measures in place.

  • Fun DJ @ The Pool Days!!

  • Just Treading Aqua Aerobics.

  • Shooting basketball hoops only (no games). BYO basketball.

  • Individuals may bring their own kick-board for individual/family unit use.

 

ACTIVITIES/FACILITIES NOT AVAILABLE IN 2021:  

  • Changing rooms/lockers remain closed.

  • Playground and waterslide remain closed.

  • Some NPCP events to help maintain safety & social distancing and keep everyone safe. (e.g Raft Night, Teen Movie night, basketball competition).

  • NPCP owned games/equipment (kick boards, noodles, basketballs etc). 

 

Every member (or parent/guardian) and their guest must commit to following these guidelines and present a signed COVID-19 waiver before entry.
