We look forward to seeing all our swimmers and divers back in the pool this summer!

Important Information for 2026 Swim and Dive Teams
Registration is open for the 2026 season!

Team members must be members of the pool.  

Open to ages 6 to 18.
 

Fees
New swimmers and new divers should not register until they have tried out and made the team.  To make the swim team, swimmers must be able to swim one full lap of freestyle and one full lap of a stroke of their choice.  Swimmers should expect 45 to 60 minutes of continuous swimming during practices.  To make the dive team, divers must be able to pass the NPCP dive test. 
 

Fees to join the teams are:
$225 swim team 
$200 dive team 
$360 for both teams 
 

$15 late fee will apply to any registrations made after midnight, June 12.
 

The discount for both teams also ends June 12.
 

Tryouts for NEW swimmers and NEW divers will be on Tuesday, June 2 and Wednesday, June 3 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Returning swimmers and divers do not need to try out.  The coaches will let the child know at tryouts if he or she makes the team. A child is only required to tryout one day; once the child tries out, he or she can leave. 
 

Practices will start the week of June 8th.  
 

As a reminder, no parents are allowed to attend or watch practice. There are no exceptions. For safety and other reasons, you may not be on the pool deck or speaking to coaches during practice times. If you need to discuss anything with a coach, please contact npcpswimdive@gmail.com.   Also, please park and pick up your child PROMPTLY at the front door to the pool at practice end time. Traffic conditions become dangerous for our children when parents pick up from the driving lane of the parking lot.
 

Swimsuit fittings will take place on Wednesday, June 10 from 3:30 to 5:15 p.m.  This is the third of the same suit; you do not need to purchase a new suit if you have one that fits.

2026 Swim and Dive Team Refund Policy
All transactions are final.  Refunds will not be issued. 

Swim Practices
After school swim practices will take place Monday through Thursday from June 8 through June 16.  There will be no practice on Wednesday, June 17.  Below are the practice times:

3:30 – 4:30 p.m.    Ages 11 and Up
4:30 – 5:15 p.m.    Ages 9-10
5:15 – 6:00 p.m.    Ages 8 and Under
 

Regular season swim practices will take place Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, June 18.  Below are the practice times:

9:00 – 10:00 a.m.      Ages 11 and Up
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.    Ages 9-10 
11:00 – 11:40 a.m.    Ages 8 and Under (or new 9-10 Year Olds, depending on ability; ask the coaches at tryouts)
 

The swim team will have afternoon practices from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m. for all age groups unable to make the morning practice times.  The schedule will be shared once we finalize the meet schedule for the summer.

There is no practice on Friday, July 3.
 

For Green team swimmers, Divisionals will be on Monday, July 27, and the Meet of Champions will take place Thursday, July 30.  The meet schedules are being developed.  Time trials to determine placement on the Green versus Gold team will take place during practice.  The date will be announced.
 

Dive Practices
After school dive practices will take place Tuesday through Thursday from June 9 through June 16.  There will be no practice on Wednesday, June 17.  Below are the practice times:

3:45 – 4:30 p.m. OR 4:30 – 5:15 p.m.    Diver’s Choice    
 

Regular season dive practices will take place Monday through Friday, beginning Thursday, June 18.  Below are the practice times:
 

9:00 – 10:00 a.m.      Competitive 
10:00 – 11:00 a.m.    Developmental

We are gauging interest for afternoon practices for those children who are unable to make one of the morning practice times.  Please contact npcpswimdive@gmail.com if you are interested in afternoon practices.  We will send an email by June 1 to let you know if we have enough interest and details for afternoon practices.
 

The coaches will inform your diver if he or she is competitive or developmental.

There is no practice on Friday, July 3.

The dive meet schedule is being developed.
